Hasn’t anyone how bizarre it is that this year alone we’ve had about 50 earthquakes all around the world? With the most recent one happening in Chile late this past Monday? Chile has had 10 earthquakes this year all over 6.0 in the Richter scale.
According to this website, scientists do not believe that this is unusual. Yet they must admit that the effects of recent major earthquakes (only those considered magnitude 7 or greater) have been devastating and caused major changes on the planet as indicated by this article which notes that:
NASA is saying that 8.8-magnitude earthquake near Chile may have moved the Earth’s axis by about 3 inches and it also shortened the day by 1.26 microseconds.
Let’s hope the earthquakes subside soon and things get back to normal. I would hate to lose more time with another massive earthquake.
